NITTY GRITTY DETAILS:
Support R&D Manager by facilitating project logistics such as meetings, conference calls, administrative duties, while continuously optimizing departmental processes.
Create ad hoc reporting and data analysis tools as needed, and thoroughly proof documentation for R&D Manager and Executive approval.
Coordinate with Finance and Operations on creation and delivery of monthly P-mix reports and test financial analysis reports.
Support R&D Manager in creating & maintaining Core Menu, Beverage Menu and Special Events menu recipes, specifications, photographs, and other R&D documentation.
Assist with producing, distributing & maintaining Menu Implementation training and support documentation.
Coordinate set up & ongoing maintenance of POS system keys, KDS system requirements and COMPEAT recipes for Core Menu and Beverage menu items associated with national Menu Implementations and Tests.
Coordinate creation of Conversational Ordering with Operations and IT
Facilitate troubleshooting for KDS system and POS key issues & changes related to execution & launch of Food & Beverage national Menu Rollouts & Tests.
Field store inquiries during national Menu Rollout training and initial execution and route to the appropriate department.
Coordinate food & beverage product requirements for Marketing photo shoots.
Set up COMPEAT recipes, prep items, recipe books and POS requirements for NSO.
Maintain all aspects of the Food and Beverage R&D page on internal Intranet, including but not limited to, Menu Rollout Modules, Station Recipe Books, Specification Guides, Culinary & Beverage manuals.
Coordinate and execute the data input of Food & Beverage retail pricing increases in POS system.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, REQUIRED SKILLS
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent form two-year college or technical school; two - five year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have advanced skills in Excel including, but not limited to, working knowledge of excel formulas, running and creating functions, pivot tables, charts, and using Excel for custom financial forms.
Proficient skills in Word and PowerPoint, and strong working knowledge of OneNote, SharePoint, and Teams.
Ability to learn new programs with ease.
Detail oriented with excellent editing and proofing skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task, manage several priorities at once, and to switch between shifting priorities quickly and efficiently.
Self-starter with the ability to take direction and work both independently as well as collaboratively.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communicate skills and ability to communicate upward and downward within the organization.
Experience in training development and delivery preferred.
Familiarity with restaurant operations practices and procedures, including daily operations of the kitchen, food production, inventory & purchasing and food safety practices preferred.
General understanding of basic culinary terms, concepts and recipe writing preferred.

Non-traditional work environment. We have games in the lobby, a billiard table in the break room, shuffleboard up front and we get everyone together monthly for “Party on the Patio” where we relax and catch up over ice cold “refreshments”.
